On the evening of March 25, the College of Vocational and Technical Teacher Education held the “Education and Technology Exchange Journey”, in which five postgraduates from the classes of 2022 and 2023 of the College shared their experiences on thesis writing, corporate internships and obtaining professional skills certificates.
Zhang Jin took the publication of “W2V-ATT-LSTM: A New Customer Satisfaction Prediction Model for Online and Offline Consumption Patterns” as an example to analyze in depth the insights he had gained during the process of dissertation writing, revising, and submitting the dissertation. He emphasized the importance of paying attention to the logic of article structure and iconography in paper writing. As for writing softwritings, he reminded that we should strictly follow the norms of official documents to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the materials and complete the softwriting application more efficiently.
Kong Run shared his experience and insights of writing the dissertation on “Digital Competence Training Mode and Enhancement Path for Vocational Education Teachers--Technology Acceptance Theory Perspective” in depth as an example. He pointed out that in the process of writing, students often encountered challenges such as limited vision, unstable logical framework, incoherent thinking, poor writing style and lack of coherence, which resonated with them. In this regard, he suggested that students should strengthen the foundation and framework of the dissertation writing, actively read domestic and international journals to broaden their horizons, and strengthen the communication with their supervisors to adjust and optimize the dissertation according to their opinions.
Chen Jieyingtook the dissertation “How Secondary Teachers Teach in the Classroom under Generative Artificial Intelligence” as an example, and gave an introduction to selecting a topic for the dissertation and constructing a framework for writing the dissertation. She emphasized the importance of clear essay structure and rigorous logical thinking in the writing process. As for the selection of journals for submission, she advised students to consider their own research directions and achievements, and make sure to read the submission guidelines of the journals carefully to ensure that the format and content of the paper are in line with the requirements of the journals.
Li Wenqiang shared the difficulties he encountered in the development of static test equipment for silicon carbide power modules in the enterprise practice under the title of “Enterprise Practice and Test Equipment Development”, and suggested that the younger students should look for the topic of their dissertation from the perspectives of test equipment development, methodology improvement and problem solving in the enterprise practice.
Li Zhengfeng gave a detailed explanation of the Soft Exam (System Integration Project Management Engineer), from the time schedule to the scope and focus of the subject to provide a clear preparation path for the exam. He suggested that students should reasonably arrange their study time according to their personal situation to ensure that they have a plan and a goal for their revision.
Professor Wang Haiying participated in the whole exchange activity, discussed with students the conceptual relationship between digitalization and artificial intelligence and the application prospects of machine learning in the field of education, and commented on the students' sharing brilliantly.
STES is actively exploring two modes of postgraduate training, namely “technology + education” and “education + technology”, and this postgraduate experience-sharing meeting has set up an effective learning and communication platform for students of different training modes. Through this sharing session, students realized the importance of academic research and vocational skills certificate more deeply, determined the learning goal, clarified the direction of struggle, and had a clearer understanding of the future learning and career development.
